As I was driving my youngest home from school he commented on how weird it is that we had snow earlier this week, and today it feels hot. It’s only 63 out, but compared the winter we have had, it’s like summer! It’s so nice to see the sunshine, and be able to get outside. We are one week away from spring break time here in Massachusetts, so I’ll be heading to much warmer weather soon! Windsor Peak Have you read Colin’s story yet? The second book in the spinoff series “Windsor Peak: The Monahans” follows our favorite grumpy addition to town. If you found out why he’s so miserable, I hope you enjoyed it! Next up in the series is the final sibling, Desmond. I’m keeping his story tightly under wraps, but I’m really enjoying it so far! I’m about 1/3 of the way done, so my goal is to have you all reading it on the beach! I created this reading map for Windsor Peak, because I know I slipped around a little with the order! The first book in the Monahan series comes before the last book in the original series, so it was causing some confusion. Here is the correct reading order for new readers: If you’re looking for more Windsor Peak fun, I added a Burrows family tree to my website. Both before and after you read the series, so don’t get mixed up and click on the wrong one! That was made at the request of my mom, so she hopes you all are as happy as she was to see it :) Spring Happenings For anyone who is local, I have one event scheduled so far this spring. I will be one of the authors participating in the Plymouth Public Library’s Local Author fair! The fair will take place on May 30, and I’m hoping to see a lot of you there so the library will feel like the made the right decision in choosing me!  I’m also working on a few other local signings. This spring and summer I’ll be on a college tour with my oldest - so if you live outside of Massachusetts and would like me to explore a signing in your area, send me a message! If you could suggest a bookstore that might be agreeable, I can try to coordinate with our travels.
